Become a COS.TV Creator

Registering

Click “Log in” in the upper right corner of the COS.TV main page, and select “Sign up” after the login window pops up.

2. Follow the steps to complete the registration information. If you fill in “Invitation code (optional)” with an inviter’s code, you and the inviter will receive rewards.

Uploading Videos

Click “Upload Video” in the upper right corner and enter COS.TV Creation Center > Upload Video.

2. Drag and drop a video file to the upload area (or click the blue button to select the video from a folder) to start uploading the video.

3. Fill in the Video title, Tag, and upload or choose a screenshot as a thumbnail for the video.

4. Select the Advanced Settings according to your preferences. If you have permission to allow advertising, you will see the option for “Ad monetization” here; click “Yes” to activate ad monetization. Finally press the “Upload” button and you’re done!

5. After the video upload is complete, you can see your uploaded video on COS.TV Creation Center > My Videos. Once the video is uploaded, it will enter an automated review process, and the video will be fully uploaded after about 30 seconds.

Liking Videos

For 7 days after uploading your video, you will receive a reward every time a user likes your video. If a user has a higher staked COS token value (VEST) you will receive more rewards.

2. You can see the history of rewards you have received in your COS.TV Mainnet Wallet > My rewards.

Gifting Votes

When your video receives “Gifting Votes”, you can see the number of received Gifting Votes under the video, and see your Gifting Votes records in your COS.TV Mainnet Wallet > My rewards.

Ad Monetization

Once your channel has uploaded quality original videos, you can apply for ad monetization on your channel. After advertisements are enabled, you can upload videos through the desktop version of the website. Click “Yes” in the “Ad monetization” section when uploading, and the video will receive advertising revenue.

2. The previous month’s advertising revenue is distributed every month, and you can see your advertising revenue in your Personal Center > Dashboard > Token vouchers > REDEEM (WITHDRAW).

3. Click on “Transactions.”

4. The advertising revenue is in USDT. After clicking USDT, the “Category” “AD Monthly Income” is your ad revenue.

COS.TV Rewards

My Rewards

All the rewards you receive, such as video likes, gifting votes, etc., will become VEST staking tokens and will be displayed in your COS.TV Mainnet Wallet > My assets > VEST; 1 VEST is equivalent to 1 COS token.

What are the benefits of holding VEST?

If you continue to hold the earned rewards in your account in the form of VEST, or convert more COS to VEST, you will be able to:

Receive more rewards for your liked videos and comments and also receive more rewards for liking and commenting on other creators’ videos.
Participate in block production voting and earn block production ecosystem rewards.

BP Voting

All users can participate in block producer (BP) voting at any time to support the ecosystem operations of COS.TV and receive ecosystem rewards.

In your COS.TV Mainnet Wallet > VEST > BP Vote, click on any block producer you want to vote for and you are done! We recommend official nodes (thomashoang) for stable and consistent rewards.

2. BP voting rewards will be automatically distributed to your Mainnet Wallet in the form of VEST every week. The higher the number of VEST you hold, the higher the rewards you will be able to receive.

Withdrawing Ad Revenue

Go to Personal Center > Dashboard > Token vouchers and click “REDEEM (WITHDRAW).”

2. Here you can see the total number of the various tokens you hold.

3. Select USDT, and add a wallet address that can receive BEP20 tokens, and add a Label for the wallet address (cannot be left blank).

4. Click on USDT “Withdraw” to start the withdrawal process.

5. Select a wallet and enter the amount to be withdrawn.

6. Once confirmed, the funds will be sent to your wallet within 3–5 working days.

Converting VEST to COS for Withdrawal

Click on Convert to COS.

2. After entering the amount of VEST you want to convert, follow the instructions.

3. After completing the verification procedure, VEST will be converted into COS every week for the next six weeks. We recommend receiving the verification code by email.
